usefully helps you find the right tool for the job. A tool might be an app, a website or a software platform.
Start from what you’re trying to do (answer calls you can’t pick up, send invoices, read more, stick to a budget) and we’ll show the tools that do it, what they cost and who they suit.
We also build small apps of our own. When one of them fits a use case, you’ll see it there, clearly labelled as ours.
How we work
- We start from use cases, not products. Every tool is listed under the jobs it actually does.
- Prices come with a date. Every price links to the page we read it on and says when we checked it.
- We say what we’ve tested. Tools we’ve used ourselves are marked as tested. The rest say “not tested yet”, and their descriptions come from the vendor’s own information.
- No paid placements. Nobody pays to be listed or to be ranked higher. See how we pick.
Our apps
Our apps are small, private by default and focused on one job. You can see them all on our apps page.
